I Remember
The air was crisp, the day was warm
We were happy I remember.
My Mum, my Dad and me
just us three
Walking through the plants
and trees.
I remember I was very small
and it was a long walk up that hill.
So we rested
On the stone wall
we sat as the day grew cold.
And Mum lifted me to the drinking fountain,
I remember.
The water was so cool, so refreshing and sweet.
And then I was tired so, we went home
Mum, Dad and me and that is all I remember
