This is a section where I post poems sent to me by people who have found my site and wish to display their own works. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

This poem is by Francis Deider Hostan-Meyer

Moonchild

I patiently await the night.
Wishing for the moon to shine.
I feel her eyes upon my face
As you turn to her and smile.
I know you will always love me
For I have felt it in her glow.
Memories of a touch never felt quiver through me.
Down my spine I feel the rush of freedom,
The everything that is you.
The everything that is our love
And I turn to the moon and smile
And whisper, "Thank you"
For now I am content.
