This is a section where I post poems sent to me by people who have found my site and wish to display their own works. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

My Twilight Angel

O’ fair sweet angel of mine
Snared by turmoil’s torrid trap,
Can’t you see the beauty within?
Hidden by your melancholic frown.

Shattered mirrors hiding the truth
Of rueful lust feeding the breach.
For love, one sworn pledge,
Such angelic autumn hair…

Scorn those hollow eyes you seek
For true love shall not reflect;
Within the void beyond your grasp
My lovely dove shall weep once more.

This sorrow consumes feeling within,
For you, my own soul does weep.
Perhaps you too can see what I do,
Lonesome siren singing sweet melodies.

Damn that, which tears at you,
Arise forth the will to fly
Free from those who hurt you
To rekindle the warmth in you.

Step once more amongst the cleansing rain.
Rediscover rousing aroma since forgotten.
Know that wherever you journey,
Always looking over shall I.

Spread forth your wings and take flight
Unto soothing winds of memories (possibilities?)
To seek the hole torn from you,
In hopes that we might meet again.
