This is a section where I post poems sent to me by people who have found my site and wish to display their own works. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Reasons

There is power
Resting
Beneath this façade
Of broken pieces

Silently
Invisibly
Resting

It lies below the vestiges
Of memory
Containing images
Only imagination can explain

It lies within some boundaries
I've long forgotten
Hibernating
In a cave

But like the animal
Within
It is awakened

By the magic of the seasons
It arises

By the hand
Of inner motion
It is guided

Emerging
From
Its hiding
With utter certainty

I feel its motion
I feel its certainty
I feel its devastating reasons
To withhold
